This year’s Big Butterfly Count will run from the 16th July to the 8th August.

Thats’s all butterflies, not just the big ones, but the count is big as anyone can get involved. The Coddenham Centre is already working with community members in ensuring wildflower areas are allowed to flourish on the land we have been entrusted with. Our Wildflower Workout Areas are working!

If you want to use the Big Butterfly Count app to take part then you can download the app and submit sightings during the Count period. Alternatively, you just follow the guidelines and make a note!

Apart from looking good, these guys are an essential part of rural life and have been threatened by a tough Spring. Spend just 15 minutes and help important research.
