As usual there is lots happening at your Coddenham Centre this weekend. Eat, Play, Park or Exercise, we are at your service!

We start Saturday morning off with the weekly Weekend Nordic Walk at 9.45am From 12pm to 3pm, Rubicon sponsored by Mid Suffolk District Council will be running a mini skatepark at the Centre, with free use of scooters, skateboards and cycles for all ages. Please come along and perhaps learn a new skill! You can read all about their work Here.

Later on we are providing Residents Parking for those kindly moving to make way for the Women’s Cycle Race at 2pm. Please return your cars as soon as possible afterwards to make way for visitors from across the region attending the talk on Getting Greener, a Guide to Sustainable Living. Free to all, including refreshments and the opportunity to buy Free Trade goods. It’s a subject that affects all our futures, so please come along, listen and perhaps raise questions. More details on the community website, here.

At 5pm, the Mobile Pizza Company comes to Coddenham, for what we hope will be a regular Saturday Night feature. On the car park until 7pm, with a share of takings going to your Coddenham Centre Charity, you can turn up and order or pre-book by going to their website here.

On Sunday morning, there will be a private Brunch for registered Nordic Walkers who join the Suffolk School of Nordic Walking in celebrating their first birthday.

Looking ahead, make a note in your diary for the Return of the Christmas Quiz on Saturday 20th November and on the 27th November, our Centennial Tree Planting Day, when we we will celebrate a 100 years of the Coddenham Recreation Ground with community planting of new hedging, sponsored trees and a centennial oak, donated Lord De Saumarez, Full details to be announced soon..
