We’ll be welcoming 2025 with eight new trees, which will be planted after the holiday.

Courtesy of the Mid Suffolk Bio-diversity team they will replenish long lost plantings in the car park, Similar to our surviving trees, the hawthorn Crataegus persimilis ‘ Prunifolia’ provides clusters of white flowers, followed by bright red fruit. (for the birds)  and a dramatic change of leaf colour in the autumn.

The trees follow similar plantings and repairs with the help of volunteers, across the Coddenham Centre grounds, since acquiring our charitable status five years ago. It’s all part of our environmental strategy and Carbon Charter award objectives.
