Whats all that noise!

We are pleased to at last have work under way to build our new Meeting and Learning Suite!

The Coddenham Centre while well appointed is perhaps unique as a community facility, in not offering a dedicated meeting room.

In 2020 with the help of Community Action Suffolk’s Pro Help scheme and architect Paul Weston, we drew up plans to create such a facility, to offer us more flexibility and to free up space.

Previously used for storage, two rooms are now well on the way to providing a comfortable meeting, classroom or small studio area. We hope to have all fitted out by late November. Volunteer painters please contact us!

A second stage to provide better general storage is also at a planning stage.

Our thanks to our customers for putting up with some disruption the last couple of weeks and to Trustees and TCC Team for continuously moving and storing both furniture and equipment.

If you’d like the new facility to commemorate or be named after a loved one or special event, we are inviting a donation of £9,000 for an exclusive plaque and ‘opening’ event.

Alternatively, up to five contributions of £2000, can be listed in our entrance area. Anonymous donations are of course welcome too!
