Everyone’s talking even more about Nordic Walking….. @The Coddenham Centre.
In light of the enthusiastic response to our inaugural taster and course run in conjunction with Fit Villages, we are planning to further develop Nordic Walking for both Coddenham and the region.
We are also in conversation with British Nordic Walking, the not for profit organisation nationally supporting the exercise that is accessible to all and can work up to 90% of the body!
In the meantime, for those who have had tuition and own Nordic Walking poles*, we have organised an informal weekly walk starting at The Coddenham Centre at 10am on the 6th July. The first walk includes the Shrubland Estate.
Walks are open to visitors and residents alike (subject to booking, a maximum of five and social distancing) and will explore the wealth of local footpaths. You should allow approximately 90 minutes.
*UPDATE: Up to five sets of Nordic Walking poles can be made available by the Centre, from the 13th July. ( Gosbeck Wood) Donation, £5.00 per session. You must have some NW experience as this is currently, not a course.
Please contact us at enquires@thecoddenhamcentre.co.uk or call Gail Springett our Centre Manager on 07720 206532 for bookings and details.
We welcome expressions of interest in future courses, tasters and equipment hire.
