We kick off the month with New Yoga led by Victoria Squirrell on Thursday mornings 10:30-11:30 from the 3rd October 2024. Classes are inclusive to all ages and ability, so anyone is welcome. Prices are: £10 per class, £36 for a 4 week block with the first lesson FREE.

Then there is the first of our COOKED IN CODDENHAM Community Lunches on Friday 11th October.Residents, friends and neighbours welcome!  A CCRG collaboration with MSDC support, offers Chicken casserole, butternut squash soup, blackberry & apple crumble from our new volunteer chefs, Get your tickets now for £7.50 or donate what you want, available at the Coddenham Community Shop. Further dates to note 8th November & 6th December, then more in the New Year. Our Soup Socials kick off next month too. Details soon.

On the 19th October,  there is the return of our popular CEILIDH. Lots of fun or just sit back, enjoy the music and bar. Your ticket ( £12.50, under 16s FREE) includes a chilli jacket potato ( veg option too).Buy from the Coddenham Community Shop soon!

Also NEW, please welcome  Emma Curio from 10am – 12pm on the 20th October for a 2-hour Introductory Workshop to learn what MEDITATION is and what benefits it can offer you. This will be followed from the 5th November with a weekly drop-in meditation session every Tuesday 6.30pm – 7.30pm. Our bar opens for the next REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE Coddenham Parish Council collaboration on the Saturday 26th October 11am -2pm, a list of what to bring (or not) can be found HERE There will be refreshments and tasting demonstrations on how to stock up that winter larder, from Swallowtail Preserves.

Finally, tickets are now on sale for Mrs ARMITAGE’S PUPPET SHOW from 3pm – 5pm on Saturday 2nd November. With charming Quentin Blake inspired marionettes, this event is for everyone, whatever your age. Tickets £12.50 for adults, £5 for children, family (2 adults & 2 children under 16) £25.Another excellent show from Creative Arts East, its just what we need to lighten up the winter gloom, do please support.
