What is Yin Yoga?
A slow-paced style of yoga, it is also great for beginners.
Yin yoga uses gravity paired with body weight to gradually expand the connective tissue.
A passive practice ~ yin yoga is performed while sitting or lying down.
It soothes and calms the mind alleviating stress and tension, staying in poses for longer also trains the body to become calm.
It gives the opportunity to let go of the need to be busy, and to learn to truly relax and be in the present moment.
For this practice bring a yoga mat, pillow, and blanket.
