Walks, Dates, Times & Distances

We offer walks for every ability and everyone is welcome (subject to any current restrictions). Please call or email to discuss or book one or more of our Nordic Walks, Nordic Walking Training Courses or Taster Sessions. We provide both tailor made Nordic Walks (which have included walks) in collaboration with the NHS) and regular Nordic Walks as described below.

WORKOUT WALKS

Mondays,
9.30am -11.30am approx

A longer (5 miles /8kms +) faster-paced walk, exclusively for those who have learned the full “INWA Ten Step Method” and wish to go for a real cardio-vascular workout.

WELLNESS WALKS

Tuesdays,
9.45 -11.00 approx
A gentler-paced, shorter walk (approx 3-4 miles/5/6 kms) suitable for Nordic Walkers at all levels.

A STROLL WITH POLES

Wednesdays ( booked on demand) 
9.45 -11.00 approx
A short, easy walk (2 miles/3.2km), for those returning to exercise with the help of Nordic Walking. We go at the pace of the slowest, as you all embark on the first steps to better health.

WEEKEND WALKS

Saturdays
9.45 – 11am approx.  These walks are currently subject to demand.

A gentler-paced,  weekend walk (approx 3-4 miles/5-6 kms) suitable for Nordic Walkers at all levels.

Where we walk: While we are always open to suggestions, apart from an excellent choice of local walks around Coddenham, we are currently walking at Barking Woods, Helmingham, Levington, Needham Lakes, Orford, Pakenham, Rendlesham Forest, Shingle Street and Tuddenham.

  • Group numbers will be limited to comply with government and insurance requirements and for the comfort and safety of all, therefore places must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
  • Poles are available to hire for all walks.
