The latest of our NHS Nordic Walking Courses with Macmillan, kicks off tomorrow Wednesday 4th August for Ipswich Hospital’s patients and staff, at the Coddenham Centre.

Part of an exciting project for cancer patients with the Suffolk School of Nordic Walking and East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust Hospital, the courses run monthly at the Coddenham Centre and Highwoods Park, Colchester.

You can contact the fantastic teams at John Le Vay Cancer Information and Support Centre at Ipswich or the Macmillan Information and Cancer Wellbeing Centre at Colchester for details, including foundation courses for patients and NHS staff.

Initial courses have been enthusiastically received with patients finding the experience both both empowering and beneficial. We are also offering regular NHS walks and further technique development sessions on demand.

if you are not a patient, you can still Nordic Walk with us with up to four professionally led walks every week, from ‘ A Stroll with Poles’ to our weekly ‘Workout Walk’, there is something for everyone.
